Una Rustica Cena all’Italiana
My most recent Italian Inspirations dinner event was held this past weekend and featured some tasty dishes to celebrate the arrival of spring. Here are a few pictures of some of the courses…recipes and more pix will follow 🙂
I had twice the fun teaching my kitchen helpers about la cucina italiana…
Il Primo: Fregola sarda (courtesy of Il Corvo Pasta) with asparagi (asparagus), fave (fava beans), pomodorini (golden heirloom cherry tomatoes) & pecorino romano
(colorful veggie frittata)
Il Dolce: Tortine al cioccolato con fragole
(Molten chocolate cakes with strawberries)
I am excited about continuing to explore this fun and versatile format for in-home Italian Dinner Experiences… I’ve received lots of great suggestions for the upcoming seasons of nice weather and look forward to sharing my knowledge and passion for Italian cuisine, language and culture. I will be attending the local Rotary Club and Soroptomists Dinner Auctions in April and May: auction-goers will have the opportunity to bid on Italian Dinner Experiences to be planned and prepared by their own private chef, me!
Buon appetito!
