Italian Inspirations is owned by Ashlee Redfern. She lived in Tuscany for nearly 8 years while earning a degree in Intercultural & Interlinguistic Studies at the University of Florence.  She worked as an English teacher and also in the wine, coffee, food and fashion industries to supplement her job at the Centro Studi Jorge Eielson, a cultural association dedicated to the cultural, literary and artistic exchange between Italy and the Americas.  She now lives in the Pacific Northwest, where she teaches Italian language and culture to travelers and professionals, prepares multi-course Italian meals for clients at their homes, and organizes & guides small-group culinary tours in Italy.
